Apply one drop of medium-strength blue Loc-Tite to the threads of both hinge screws every time you install a shield.

Note: These shields will not work with the old ECE R22.05 Gringo S helmets because the closure has been updated.

If the retainer snap on your Gringo S shield becomes tight or sticky, apply one drop of general-purpose light household oil to the inside. Apply one drop of medium-strength blue Loc-Tite to the threads of both hinge screws every time you install a shield.

NOTE: these do NOT fit the new ECE 22.06 Gringo S helmets. These are for the ECE 22.05 helmets only.
