As part of the growing laminate range within the Explorer Collection, Sayan arrives as a timeless classic with leather overlays to the shoulders and elbows in a classic British four-pocket style. Designed and tested with adventure in mind, this is a lightweight, durable and versatile option for those looking to go that bit further. Five-piece D3O® is pre-fitted to the garment with pockets for additional chest protectors. Sayan is available in three colour options – black, khaki or olive green.

Caring for your Sayan jacket

To care for your jacket, remove all armour from the shoulders, elbows and back and also any removable inner liners. Use a lint-free brush or cloth to really get into any especially dirty areas, then hand-wash the jacket with a mild or diluted detergent in lukewarm water. Merlin Edale Cotec Jacket
Joining the ‘Tech Wax’ Heritage Collection, the Edale waxed cotton motorcycle jacket is a great option for riders looking for a retro-styled wax jacket that will see them through the winter. Constructed from 8oz Cotec, this Halley Stevensons-Merlin collaboration fabric is exclusive to us, and is stronger, lighter and more breathable than traditional waxed cotton. Edale makes use of Outlast temperature regulating technology within the thermal liner, which can be zipped out if necessary. It’s the details that count – brass-finished Merlin-branded press studs and quality YKK zippers adorn the outside of the jacket, and the inner lining features colour-matched Marton Mills tartan. Available in sizes S-4XL.
