Merlin Jagger Urban Utility D3O Jacket

Fashion inspired with a touch of utilitarian. The Jagger Urban Utility D3O Jacket is one of the longer Merlin products and can be worn on weekend blasts as well as shorter commutes with both on and off the bike styling. Built using a premium 10k waterproof and 10k breathable Tactel laminate, rain instantly beads off the garment, preventing water soak. Inside the jacket is a stand alone synthetic down jacket, with a 500 power fill rating. Armour comes in the form of D3O’s highly ventilated LP1 shoulder and elbow, with provision for a back protector. Despite the casual styling Jagger is CE certified to level AA.

Caring for your Jagger Urban Utility D3O Jacket

To care for your jacket, begin by lightly brushing off any dirt or soil, and use a cold damp cloth if necessary to wipe down the jacket. Clean it in this way regularly to maintain its appearance, but don’t be too harsh as the wax will be removed. You can re-wax the jacket when it loses its waxed finish and water begins to soak into the cotton rather than bead off. Please do not machine wash, tumble dry or use hot water on your jacket. The SEESOFT™ CE-Level 2 back protector insert is designed to absorb variable impacts without compromising on comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement. The highly impact-resistant blend of Nitrille and Polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and CE certified to the highest level (EN 1621-2:2003 - level 2).

In the case of severe angular impact, the individual Memory foam layers will shift relative to one another, resulting in impact dispersion over a larger effective surface area, and therefore minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back.
By applying a multiple-layer concept, REV’IT! has developed a flexible back protector insert that performs consistently in all conditions.

The Caliber gloves (as part of the DIRT Series collection) feel perfectly at home on or off-road. Why? Because this snug-fitting pair of hand protectors combine the best of both leather and mesh. In order to keep your hands safe, these CE-certified gloves incorporate PWR|Shield fabric at the palm for maximum abrasion resistance. The top of the gloves are constructed with well-ventilated PWR|Stretch mesh and flexible TPR protection is found on the fingers and knuckles. This combination – along with stretch in all the right places - provides optimal freedom of movement and the armor necessary to keep your hands safe whether riding on the asphalt or exploring off the beaten path. Additionally, the comfortable neoprene cuff will keep dust and water out of the gloves.
