Merlin Shenstone II Cotec Air Jacket

The Shenstone II is a versatile jacket for both wet and hot rides. For those wet rides, a highly waterproof and breathable 15k/10k membrane lining works to keep riders dry. Then for those dry and warm days, detach the lining and the technical waxed cotton upper which has been combined with large air mesh ventilation panels, provide maximum airflow. Shenstone II has lots of fit adjustment, subtle branding, many usable pocket. To top it off, five pieces of D3O® armour is pre-fitted. Improvements over the original include the spec of lining, armour fitment against the arms, larger mesh panels, a fold back collar hoop and even better refinement in the overall quality of finish and fit.

Caring for your Shenstone II Cotec Air jacket

To care for your wax cotton jacket, begin by lightly brushing off any dirt or soil, and use a cold damp cloth if necessary to wipe down the jacket. Clean it in this way regularly to maintain its appearance, but don’t be too harsh as the wax will be removed. You can re-wax the jacket when it loses its waxed finish and water begins to soak into the cotton rather than bead off. Please do not machine wash, tumble dry or use hot water on your jacket. The SEESOFT™ CE-Level 2 back protector insert is designed to absorb variable impacts without compromising on comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement. The highly impact-resistant blend of Nitrille and Polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and CE certified to the highest level (EN 1621-2:2003 - level 2).

In the case of severe angular impact, the individual Memory foam layers will shift relative to one another, resulting in impact dispersion over a larger effective surface area, and therefore minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back.
By applying a multiple-layer concept, REV’IT! has developed a flexible back protector insert that performs consistently in all conditions.

The SEESOFT Air is our extra ventilated CE-level 2 back protector insert that is designed to absorb variable impacts without compromising comfort, ventilation, or freedom of movement. By increasing the number and the frequency ventilation holes (there are more holes and they are bigger!) in the back protector insert, body heat and evaporated perspiration can easily escape, helping the rider cool down quicker or to keep things dry when riding in higher temperatures.

The Caliber gloves (as part of the DIRT Series collection) feel perfectly at home on or off-road. Why? Because this snug-fitting pair of hand protectors combine the best of both leather and mesh. In order to keep your hands safe, these CE-certified gloves incorporate PWR|Shield fabric at the palm for maximum abrasion resistance. The top of the gloves are constructed with well-ventilated PWR|Stretch mesh and flexible TPR protection is found on the fingers and knuckles. This combination – along with stretch in all the right places - provides optimal freedom of movement and the armor necessary to keep your hands safe whether riding on the asphalt or exploring off the beaten path. Additionally, the comfortable neoprene cuff will keep dust and water out of the gloves.
