Short-cuffed, female-specific, ventilated travel gloves for adventurous riders

Although the Sand 5 Ladies have been designed to complement the Sand 5 H2O Ladies outfit, these lightweight and breathable gloves have also become the go-to gloves for a large audience of female adventure riders across the globe.  The next step As with every evolution of a staple product in our collection, there are certain aspects that we like to zoom in on and improve yet leave other characteristics like functionality and purpose untouched. With the Sand 5 Ladies gloves, that was fit and comfort. As one of the top-selling gloves in our collection, we already knew we had a winning formula. We just wanted to make it even better. A balanced recipe A short cuff along with a combination of leather and 3D air mesh make up the majority of the Sand 5 Ladies gloves’ composition. We then match it with top-tier features like a new TPR injected knuckle protector that allows for even more dexterity and flexibility, TPU thumb and palm protection, a TPR little finger protector, wrist bone protection, a tri-fleece lining (for added comfort), Goat stay-soft leather and a grip panel on the inside of the hand, and much more. The Sand name has a legacy to uphold, and this generation does their predecessors proud.

This change is marked by small tweaks and adjustments aimed at enhancing its overall performance. This Sand 5 H2O Ladies jacket (as part of the Sand 5 H2O Ladies outfit with matching pants) remains as relevant today as it was 25 years ago. In crafting the Sand 5, a delicate balance is struck, paying homage to the past while looking towards the future. Shifting Styles The Sand 5 H2O Ladies jacket takes on a slightly more sport-driven character compared to the Sand 4. As adventure bikes become more sport-centric and dynamic, the Sand 5 H2O Ladies reflects this industry shift. Matching the fast-paced nature of sport and the thirst for the uncharted, the Sand 5 H2O Ladies jacket fuses two genres into one. Furthermore, the jacket is hydrapak prepared in the lower back pocket (like with our Trail vest) with a cutout in the left corner to feed a water tube underneath the arm and up the front to be attached on the left side. The Over and Under Concept Like we previously introduced in one of our ADV jackets—the Offtrack 2 H2O—we’ve taken our know-how of the proven over and under waterproof liner concept and applied it to our Sand 5 H2O jacket. Wear the detachable hydratex 3L liner over or under your protective layer according to your personalized preference for keeping the rain away—and keeping you dry. Though we recommend wearing it over because of the high-performance characteristics of the membrane and its design-driven aesthetics. A detachable, separately wearable thermal liner is also included to up the ante on warmth and comfort on cold, rainy days. Female-Specific Details Special attention has been given to the fit of the Sand 5 H2O Ladies jacket to ensure that, even with all the inclusion of straps and buckles, the form and silhouette still look appealing from a design perspective. Additionally, the jacket is hydration pack prepared in the lower back pocket (similar to our Trail vest), with a cutout in the left corner to feed a water tube underneath the arm and up the front to be attached on the left side.

Multiple adjustment straps and tabs on the arms, and variable height adjustment straps at the waist will ensure the perfect fit to your body with or without the liners installed.

If you are looking for airflow, this jacket has plenty of options that allow you to regulate the amount of wind that blows towards your body. It features 3 ventilation panels on the front, 4 ventilation zippers on the arms, and 2 exhaust vents zipper on the back. The 2 front pockets, big rear pocket, and 2 inner pockets provide ample storage space so you can bring all your essentials along for the ride and keep them close. The back pocket is even large enough to store the liners when not in use. All the outside pockets can be closed with zippers to make sure you won’t lose your valuable possessions during the ride.   • Flexisnap at collar: The REV’IT! flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar circumference easily and personalize its fit to each rider. A jacket is often worn in more then one season, and the flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar within seconds. During winter a wider collar circumference accommodates combining the jacket with a balaclava or wind collar, while during summer, a wider circumference lets an all-important cooling wind into the collar.
